Offered:
Ø T-Ball (Ages 4-6)
- $80 -
Tee
Ball is for players learning the game of baseball for the first time & who
have never participated in an organized youth baseball program.
Ø “A” (Ages 5-6) -
$140* -
Single
A is designed for players who have previously participated in a youth baseball
program and are ready to transition from Tee Ball to coach-pitch.
Ø “AA” (Ages 7-8) -
$140* -
Double
A division utilizes a pitching machine and introduces players to a more
competitive level of baseball, with emphasis on putting the ball in play and
developing fundamental offensive and defensive skills.
Ø “AAA” (Ages 9-10)
- $140* - Triple A division offers player-pitch
baseball at the 46/60 distances. Players are also eligible for AAA level
post-season All-Star teams.
Ø “Majors” (Age 11)
- $140* - Majors division offers a more advanced level
of player-pitch baseball at the 46/60 distances. Players are also eligible for
Majors level post-season All-Star teams.
Ø “Intermediate”
(Ages 12-13) - $140* - Intermediate division offers our most
advanced level of player-pitch baseball at the 50/70 distances. Players are
also eligible for Intermediate level post-season All-Star teams.
*WLL has eliminated the fee differential
for players with a Woodland zip code (95695 or 95776) that is "outside the
city boundaries". The fee for players with a non-Woodland zip code is $185.
All fees reflect the elimination of
parent snack bar volunteer hours – snack bar will be staffed in 2019 by paid
personnel. A sibling discount of $20 (per additional player) is
available for families with two or more players (players must have the same
address).

Information:
Ø Ages listed are
based on the LL Int'l Age Chart and may not coincide exactly with a player's
chronological age.
Ø WLL utilizes a manager
selection draft process to select teams for the Single A through Intermediate
divisions. Any player movement (up or down) to another division is dependent on
1) Roster spot availability, 2) Executive Board approval and 3) Draft process
(manager selection). Parent requests are taken into consideration and must be
submitted in writing; however, final determination is based on the three
criterion listed.
Ø Tee Ball Division
plays an 8 game schedule. Single A through Intermediate Divisions play a
minimum 16 game regular season schedule (weather permitting). All players
participate in league opening and closing ceremonies.
Ø Single A through
Intermediate Divisions will participate in the annual WLL City Tournament.
Ø With the addition
of the Majors Division WLL has increased the total number of All-Star teams to
six – three each from the American and National Leagues.
Ø A valid Birth Certificate is required for LL
participation.
Parents not wishing to upload player's birth certificate to the online portal
must attend an in-person registration event
Ø In-person
registration events will be held at the NITF practice facility (1233 Commerce
Ave.) on the following dates:

Ø Tryouts will be
held on January 26, 2019
